Titanium requires a heat-based process for gold electroplating. Because of this, your Apple Watch will be carefully disassembled, which involves removing the original water resistance seal. After this service, your watch will no longer be water-resistant. Please avoid any exposure to water following this customization. All other watch functions remain unaffected.
💡 Note on Process Differences:
Unlike our polishing and anodizing services, which do not require heat and do not involve taking the watch apart, gold electroplating does require heat and a full disassembly of the watch. This distinction is important to understand before placing your order.
