Professional send-in gold plating, mirror polishing and titanium anodizing by De Billas Lux. These listings are for services, not complete watches. Each service identifies the supported models, materials, finish and included work.
Choose the correct process
Gold electroplating applies a layer of the selected gold finish over an approved metal surface. It is not solid gold. Eligible bare stainless steel Apple Watch Series 1–9 models use a different process from titanium Apple Watch Ultra models; purchase the service intended for your device.
Mirror polishing creates a reflective surface finish. Golden, blue and sky blue anodizing are color treatments for approved titanium parts, not gold plating. Painted, coated, aluminum or unfamiliar components require review before we accept the work.
Expected turnaround
Standard send-in services normally take 3–5 business days after we receive your item and confirm the requested work. Shipping transit in both directions is additional. Selected priority polishing has a 1–2-business-day handling estimate. Complex titanium Apple Watch Ultra gold electroplating retains its separately stated approximately two-week estimate because it requires disassembly and additional processing. A specific approved quote may state a different timeframe.
Before you order: water resistance and care
Gold-plated titanium Apple Watch Ultra models are taken apart and are no longer water resistant after the service. Keep them dry. Eligible stainless steel Apple Watch and Samsung models are plated without disassembly, helping preserve their existing water-resistant construction. Approved polishing and anodizing services performed without disassembly follow the care guidance in their individual listings.
Water resistance depends on the device's condition and can diminish with wear or damage. These services do not repair damaged seals and do not provide a waterproof guarantee or a new depth certification. Plated bands, decorative stones and leather may require stricter care.
Sending your item
Confirm the correct service and any unusual damage or special requests before shipping. Pack the item securely in a sturdy box and retain your carrier tracking number. Follow the preparation and shipping instructions in the selected service listing.
